When is the best time to paint a house exterior in Wisconsin?
Exterior paint needs dry weather and temperatures within the range on the product label, which here usually means late spring through early fall. Booking your assessment early helps you get a spot in the season.
How often does a house exterior need repainting?
It depends on the siding, sun exposure, and the quality of the last job. Many homes need it every 5 to 10 years. Peeling, chalking, or faded south-facing walls are the usual signs.
What if some wood is rotted?
We point out damaged or rotted wood during the walkthrough so it can be repaired before painting. Painting over rot only hides the problem.
Do I need to be home while you paint?
Not usually. We'll need access to the outside of the house and to water and power, and we'll walk through the finished job with you at the end.
